Llegamos a la III Jornada del curso Técnico Especialista en Vinos de la Región de Murcia con ganas de conocer……

La expresión del Monastrell en Yecla:

De la mano de dos de los grandes productores de la zona, CASTAÑO y BARAHONDA

Que nos mostrarán el lado más bondadoso del varietal en sus distintas elaboraciones y terruños a través de la interpretación de sus respectivos enólogos; Mariano López y Araceli González

Cambiaremos de tercio dejando los vinos comunes tranquilos y acercándonos al mundo de los vinos especiales carbónicos, los Espumosos……

 En este caso con Manolo Martínez, de Bodegas Serrano, que nos contará la elaboración de vinos espumosos de corte mediterráneo

 Compararemos las zonas de espumosos más prestigiosas del mundo: Champagne y Cava

 Cataremos nuestros espumosos de Murcia en sus distintas fases de envejecimiento: jóvenes y crianzas de distinta duración 

También apreciaremos en cata nuestro estilo, el de cava y el de Champagne

 Y disfrutaremos viendo como Manolo degüella una botella en directo

Cerraremos las jornadas de comida maridaje en el Casino de Cehegín, al que accederemos a pie desde la Escuela del Vino, lo que nos permitirá apreciar la maravillosa arquitectura que conserva Cehegín en las calles de su casco viejo, el más bonito si cabe de la comarca del Noroeste

Y… finalmente…

Jugaremos catando a ciegas vinos de Murcia e intentando colocarlos bajo el amparo de su zona de producción!!
